As someone looking into real estate investing (currently trying to find an affordable multifamily to house hack), it seems like its going to be difficult finding funding as most properties that aren't in complete disrepair are close to 200k, and dealing with the properties that do even fall below 110k seem like giant investments in terms of how much work, structural and big ticket fixes, where losing money on a deal seems much more possible than making money. 

One feature that seems to be missing is any kind of maintenance request/ticket tracking.Unfortunately, these prices don't include full accounting.

They were also giving away free tickets to new members for the Big Live event, but after reading the above comments, it seems like the 3 day event would be a waste of time even though it is free.

Ya i dont use the virtual boarding pass much.. a few times I could not get it to come up at secruity and I had to go back to the coutner to get the paper ticket.. with Alaska who is who i normally fly I print the boarding pass at home and then just go straight through security ..

Between airport and downtown is the ticket but STR operators in almost any part of town can do well.

Both of these events are free to come to and you dont need tickets or sign up to come. 

ive been mostly looking for conventions but everything ive found is along the lines of "Grant cardone featuring david goggins panel; buy your tickets for $400 and network like never before" - anything more aligned/tailored for local investors? 

Or the alternatives are to receive BSEED tickets, tenants can put rent in escrow, etc.
