I was a little surprised how much the operating costs really are when I try and project what I'll need in 10 years to not have to pay out of pocket for big expenses plus the basic outflow (lawn, lic fees, termite inspections, insurance, taxes...)Here's my question, the property nets 1500 per month after I pull everything out.

VA loan is awesome however I personally feel as though home prices and rentals are ridiculous and unless you're throwing down a decent downpayment or staying here long term, it's not worth it.

I put a some money into making it more desirable as a vacation rental via (airbnb, vrbo...etc) with the plan of holding it as an investment long term. It's
