Most hosts stick to white or something similar to a hotel, that guests would expect to see in a rental.   

You can deduct the hotel, airfare, Uber or vehicle mileage as travel expenses. 

Have someone watch the cross walk.Neighbors- They are all businesses and closed, or the Hotel folks will walk over.If it gets too big, rent out the grass area behind you across the street.As always check zoning and covenants.Over the top????

A Hotel and AirBNB are both short term rental models. 

Usually the tenant would have insurance to cover a hotel stay in this situation. 

They can hit a monthly rate on a hotel if they need. haha

Renting an AirBnB usually is a better deal for them than a hotel because they get a whole house for around the same price or cheaper.
