I have had many applicants call about my rentals and when I ask about a dog's breed and size, I get answers like, "I'm not sure", "He's a Lab mix" (that means pit bull usually), "You have to allow my Rottweiler, she's a therapy dog!"

Attendance is usually 40-50 (last month was over 50).This month the scheduled speaker is an attorney who will be discussing landlording issues related to service and therapy animals.You can also go online and find a website for COREE which meets, I believe, the first Tuesday every month.

I sometimes have one or two people mention a service dog but this spring I have 2 vacant properties and every other caller has a "service" or "therapy" animal . . . or three!!!
