Let me share my response.As I think about the BP threads on race I’ve engaged in, I see four different types of responses, on both sides of any given issue by the way: UnprofessionalThese posts include insults, condescension, labels, lecturing, etc.AnecdotesWhile respectful, these posts include some version of sharing a personal incident or two and then sharing broader conclusions about a complex issue based on the experience.Data-driven essays These are the posts that share insights from other articles, research and/or data.

I don't know why but it seems many craigslist applicants use the email to send an an essay about what they're looking for.

With limited comps for a 1926 SF 2/1 property which which needs a full gut rehab (has never been updated), I am trying to determine how to make a persuasive offer to the seller/family friend before she decides to put the property on the market in 2-3 weeks.  

As a result, I'm of the persuasion that people should be free to exchange and consume ideas, opinions, and advice knowing that everyone accepts the responsibility for their own choices.Those who don't do proper due diligence on their deals will have to deal with the consequences.Why should it be any different for legal matters?

A thoughtfully crafted essay that's accurate.

Before when i was projected to net 1000+ cashflow a month just to move out, it was worth it, now the numbers are not quite as persuasive. 

I encourage you to read the essay, 1000 True Fans - by Kevin Kelly.

However, it took him two years of persuasion to get the deal and convince his seller to sell to him.
