After calling a few people I found out that the best companies will actually come out for 2 years after the initial cleaning to make sure all residual odors are eliminated.Cogo is charging me 12% interest and there are a handful of other closing fees attached to that.

With pet odors it can get difficult to remove the deep-set smell, since the floor beneath your carpet could be the reason for these odors too.

Took 6 months and we had to LITERALLY use respirators to walk inside the house because the odor / fumes were so bad from the cats...

I will say, most cabins are on well water, which can be tricky - the water can be very mineral-y and, depending on the well and conditions, can have an odor (sulfur) or some color.
