My wife and I currently own a house in Royal Oak, Michigan (Metro Detroit). we have decent equity in the house as we bought it in 2017 and have 2.65% mortgage rate. 

However some of my best months are in the winter; we have visiting families for SU students, a ton of traveling nurses, and we are about to have the biggest chip manufacturing plant in the country. 

We could all chip in make it worth his/her while....Please keep your ears to the ground on this!  

Do i fix this up with 20-30k and cash in my chips and look for a new opportunity.

Over the years as they’ve apparently grown bigger, they seem to project a “better than thou” image with a chip on their shoulder and that doesn’t sit well with me.

Intel just broke ground on the largest chip facility in the world which will also help.
