I own 19 properties in Rhode Island and have found the Eastern CT market to have Rents just as high as Rhode Island with property prices 60% less and taxes 50% less.

I don't think there is a market for that personally. land development is done on a very local basis and isn't a service many CRE brokers use.

The going rate varies by market, but some agents will do it for free in exchange for any unrepresented buyer leads, while others may charge $50-$100 depending on the demand in your area.Wishing you and your wife all the best—exciting times ahead!

Pending property prices in your market perhaps $25,000 is enough to buy a small rental house.

In most markets it is not a linear price increase.  

It opened my mind to a new marketing avenue.

I am exploring a shift into other markets: senior housing, workforce housing and micro housing all interest me.
