They totally ignore the deaths caused by the lockdowns whether it’s suicides or delayed medical treatment, organ transplants being down 90%, or people putting off screening.

On the BP podcast they've mentioned a few times people turning a den or extra family room into their bedroom and renting out the other bedrooms in the house so they can live rent free.Best,Paul

I wouldn’t be surprised at this point if they let tenants live rent free for the rest of 2020.

Recessions are exhausting, scary, sad, frustrating, anxious times; and while it might seem exhilarating to be able to find great real estate deals, there aren't too many people giddy over the prospect of negotiating short sales with seller who have no place to go or getting a great price on a house because the owner is facing foreclosure in two days.The best way to describe it is like receiving an organ transplant.

Are you saying that you should let them live rent free in your rental instead of the renter seeking money from friends & family?

@JD Martin Of course it would be ridiculous to pay market and then let someone live rent-free.

It teaches you the process of a deal and allows you to live rent free.

People will always need a place to live (rates are crazy volatile right now though I think they will stabilize and remain low), but If you sit back and look at the big picture do you think people will be buying half million dollar homes now and/or in the near future?

I am from NY and now a transplant here in Kansas City, MO investing full time.
