Looking for someone with information about tiny home living and if it’s possible to create a “recreation vehicle” type of arrangement for tiny homes.

So I am back to using hotels there and driving 40 minutes to the lake or river.. :)

My property is set in a small neighborhood in a quiet lake town. 

Even if you live in the State and you own a second house at a lake your second house is taxed at the higher rate. 

There is also the local knowledge of a market like here in Lake Tahoe where lending can be trickier so an offer with a local lender might get chosen because they have a reputation to get a deal done vs a national lender that can have more red tape and a slower process. 

What happens is that new investors come in looking for someone who knows something, investors who know something, investors who invest themselves...but sometimes what they get is alleged investor-friendly agents who don't invest and don't work with investors much, but know other agents who do. 

Overall, around Flathead Lake has very seasonal occupancy, but if you’re a bit closer to Glacier NP and Whitefish Ski Resort occupancy is much better.   

We did our entire 4/3 2700sqft lake house with stuff from there.

We have a large lake house in the midwest that attracts multi-family stays from Memorial to Labor Day.
