Purchasing your first property can be nerve-racking so connecting with like minded individuals is a great start.

It's certainly possible all of those individuals and others are just working on burnishing their interests so people come to them to buy stuff, but in general if you're anywhere reasonably active here without trying to sell people on investing in you, you're not likely to be a pitchman.  

And you now have to file three tax returns:- partnership tax return- your individual tax return reporting 1/2 of the partnership losses- your partner's individual tax return reporting their 1/2 of the partnership lossesAnd while partnership return can be DIY-ed, it probably should not be.

I think the thing you have going for you is your religion; you have to know some other folks of your faith and where you can find like-minded individuals.

All situations are specific to individuals.Our best wishes and empathy go out to those LA individuals and communities.It’s been about 6 years since one of our storage locations was flooded for about 4 months.  2 feet over the roof.  

If you have a truly superior and/or unique product it will be easier to not have to compete with price. 

You are competing against other owners who have a much lower basis and/or debt cost to cover.

It's a great way to expand your real estate business if you can find individuals willing to co-sign.
