It’s a bummer it couldn’t work out for them but it seems that every place to rent has it’s “hiccups” and some places are just not a good fit for some families.I can understand your reasoning.

I have been grateful that everything has went smoothly for the last couple years with no major hiccups in my deals.

There can also be some market risk - I've seen several experienced flippers get hurt badly even when the market just hiccups let alone takes a real downturn.
