I guess it would come down to a cost comparison of new camera vs. film & Wal-mart processing.

IT'S ALL YOURS FOR THE TAKING... it's cheap to start a media empire now, a computer and internet connection, and maybe a basic recording studio or film studio, don't let anyone hold you back. independence rules in the age of the internet, and anyone not independent can be put out of business by those who are.let's make the Liberal slant a thing of the past.

For now, I have primarily been in software development and film (I know two strange things).

If it is smooth, I would suggest a film that looks like leaded glass.

If you're going to be on camera and just use a basic webcam, filming it by yourself, I wouldn't bother.

I went to school at SFSU for Film Production and one day I'd love to return to making short films. 

I have access to a professional film crew so I could make a short film about the town and my efforts to advertise on a crowdfunding site. 

@Darren Sager  Dave Del Dotto was the first to film his shows from Hawaii with Bikini clad women on the beach you too could have it all  LOL.Del Dotto went on to make millions of course and he know owns some kick butt wineries in the Napa Valley.. one of them I used live right across the street.. and would take friends there for wine tasting on the last tour of the day and he would usually sit and regale us with tale of his infomercial days... engaging guy for sure... 

FHA seems to be the best fit for my scenario (I work in film/television so starving artist phrase rings true haha) but it seems to be only in the US.
