Along those lines, most think McDonald's is a burger franchise, well, they are, they sell franchise's but they own and lease the stores, actually, they are a large real estate operator.The Board of Realtors is a franchise, it's a professional organization that Realtors must belong to in order to be a Realtor.

The toy store owner has customers, the burger joint has customers, an RE agent who doesn't have an agreement to represent someone has a customer, landlords have customers they don't represent a tenant, they don't act on their behalf, they provide a product and service.

A financial calculator is in the vehicles as a back up, I have 4 TI BAIIs around here.I carried a box of blank forms and contracts in the Realtor-mobile.I'd have a straight edge engineer's ruler to draw floor plans, I could take off better drawings for rehab as needed at the office and check appraisals.Take a couple legal pads with you for drawings and notes.
