You could maybe argue about the one they did the legal on and not pay that bill if it was without your permission (of course what does the agreement say).Probably not worth getting an attorney to fight this as it will cost you more next timeQuestion: did you have an attorney review this agreement prior to signing?

These cashflows encompass the other benefits of real estate you are referring to, namely principal paydown, appreciation, and tax benefits.I am arguing that real estate is not attractive as it once was, because in the current state, yields are dramatically lower due to the cost of debt, Rd, and when you compare them to other investment vehicles, it is not worth the risk.

The property is in North Carolina and I wanted to make a strong offer so I put a higher due diligence fee which becomes non-refundable unless the seller is in material breach which I would argue this is but would take take time settle.
