Stain is Dark Walnut 

It's overall a little worn out and has stains here and there but it's still perfectly functional.

CHECK THIS OUTThese tenants had been smoking in the apartment for about ten years before I came along so I allowed it to continue because it was already trashed.Washed everything.Painted with an oil-based primer that seals in the remaining stains and odors.Replace the flooring.That's it.

There are other shades that have a mix of colours but the brown shade is darker and seems more likely to hide stains.

It's in overall fine shape, no stains etc and I shampoo it every time it turns over.

That yellow smart board under paint and purple sheet rock for ceiling (so it never supports internal mold sporesI have even used older cast iron tubs people have thrown away cause they were stained from water etc. 

Clean again to wipe off dust.I used "Zinsser Cover-Stain" primer; this stuff is thick and smells like battery acid.

If the carpet is stained when a resident moves out. 

Once they moved out, we removed the pee-stained carpet and listed it as-is on the MLS.

Went to paint the walls and used a cleaner on the walls and a really good stain-blocking primer and it just still kept bleeding through on the ceiling.
