You can rent them out in the interim, but like you said, the areas that are a little bit rougher or farther from public transportation probably won't rent for as much just yet.

Account Closed the other issue here is Portlandia has all this high density no parking zoning along public transportation routes.. now a lot of it has been built since the crash.. but little will be built now and there ya go grand design to cram everyone into living with no cars is not going to work since developers are not going to build out these areas. its funny Porltandia lead the nation in getting things going when they gave the 10 year tax breaks in the Pearl and other areas of the city to stimulate growth and it did big time.now they are going backwardsMaybe Carls container homes will be the answer :) container villages.

You need to look closely at not only the numbers, but the environment (neighborhood, demographics, crime, access to services (bus, transportation, etc.) and proximity to jobs).

The tenant walks out of the house holding this massive black gross pig, wrapped in some blanket as if I’m not going to see it & transports it to some van where two ladies take it away….With so many things on the go I leave this, a couple days later I’m meeting someone to check the boiler & cops are at the house & the boyfriend is being arrested, in handcuffs, etc.
