Because of having my brain anuerism and stroke at age 54 just two days before I was scheduled for corrective surgery and otherwise being in pretty good shape, I was lucky that I was married to a woman that had been saving money for over 25 years and chose to keep me alive.  

That happened two days before I had preventive surgery scheduled.  

It just seems like there has got to be a better alternative to those cheap vinyl/plastic blinds that break if you look at them.

We gave her another 5 days, then she says apparently she is handicapped, and she lost her job, and she just had surgery and wants more time.

We found a dishwasher at our local Restore/Habitat For Humanity warehouse -it still had the plastic lining on it and is still being sold in stores for over $800 but we paid $150.

While I'm recovering from ankle surgery (no walking for the next week) this has been an awesome resource to dive into.
