The confusion comes from the fact that VA loan limits mirror FHA/Conventional, BUT, it is NOT correct that the limits step up similar to FHA/Conventional.  580,750 is the limit, period.  

However if what I am seeing in the bath is leaning mirrors I suggest you attached them to the wall, that is not good for showing and it makes the space look unfinished.

To your last point; I definitely mirror your concern about the rates however some perks of using the VA loan is no PMI as well as pretty minimal closing costs depending on your disability status.

Instead of complaining and placing blame, perhaps just take a look in the mirror.

Personally, I think our market will continue to appreciate until it gets near our market cap, and then start mirroring national trends.
