Hello fellow real estate freaks.I have a dilemma and am in search of some help and guidance from my fellow investors.Next week I stand in front of city council (city of Saskatoon) and must explain to them why and how condo conversions will help their city.They have put a stop to conversions because the city has a 0.6% vacancy rate and they don't want loss of "affordable housing".

I am seeking every bit of council I can find as I AM going to create a business that is sustainable, repeatable and successful.

It may make sense to first do a few flips in the SoCal market to increase capital for OOS deployment ala @David Greene.I am currently looking to meet investors, contractors, agents, lenders, inspectors, architects, City Council members, and Development Services Department members in San Diego.

Hoping to find some options/advice on asset based lending in the Council Bluffs Iowa and Omaha Nebraska area.

There was a lot of local anger about STRs and votes from the masses are all City Council members care about.   

You just have to comply with your city tax which you can either call the city council or go to their website to check if you will owe any taxes.

There's a good chance that it might not be a mayoral issue, but rather a City Council and City Manager issue. 

I simply do not believe the legal council for the non profit would allow this..

Have you called up a council person to find out what is being looked at county wide?
