The dust may or may not have lead, but you will still fail if the window sills, wells, or floor are dusty.Exposed/Bare Soil: Within three feet of the drip line (the exterior of the house) this will fail.

Darker colors will show wear faster. go for 100% waterproof, lay down a pad underneath so the surface is even and your floor lasts longer. try to get a thicker size.

I briefly looked over the Oakland sewer line requirements and it seems materials other then cast iron are allowed unless the line is less that 12" below soil.
