So the question is with the entrance - kitchen floor, it has a patch in the hallway and even if we do not want to, we need to change it in order to be able to sell.

If you don't want to knock the wall down I would widen the entrances to create more of an open feel.

@Eric Munson The hallway/staircase in the pictures is not a common area, it is a staircase through the back entrance going from the ground level to the 2nd floor unit.

Can't say I am too happy about the fact that someone decided it would be a good idea to include an entrance on my street(a small and fairly narrow residential street which does not need additional traffic).
