Either because 1) they now know you'll ultimately pay, or 2) they may see the fact that you paid as an admission of guilt and therefore any future claims may seem more credible since you were "guilty" of discrimination on this prior occasion? 

Yes, I have had this happen on more than one occasion. 

However,  I have been discriminated against on more than one occasion, as it pertains to REI. and that's only counting the obvious and blatant ones. 

I've seen this kind of thing on numerous occasions before I sold my property management company.

Even in the book evicted his characters do get good chances on occasion, burn then, then he still shows that it's the fault of the system against them.

In all seriousness though, this country will rise to the occasion as it has in the past.

Landlord will allow Tenant to host guests on the premises for special occasions and short periods of time and Tenant agrees to accept responsibility to ensure guests do not violate any of the terms of the rental agreement.

We have had units with damage and those take longer, on two occasions over the years it took a few months, due to pet damage and willful tenant damage.Generally speaking vacancy is not a problem we worry about. 1 to 2% across all units and I'm fine with that.
