I’m hoping the extra inch of mass/sound dampening brings Me to an acceptable level of noise transfer. 

Regardless, I pull the flat sheet way up beyond the pillow and fold it over the comforter about 10 inches.

I have done projects on our properties (primary and investment) that range from "refreshing" by doing simple things like painting, putting in new light fixtures, and small remodel projects to full "gut" remodels where I replace/remodel every square inch of the home.

To me, if the corner is to the left of the range after say an 18 inch seht of drawers bottom cabinet, it's useful for stovetop cooking, laying out ingredients, etc... but add a two door base in place of the 18" and it becomes storage for appliances (which need a home too).

If that doesn't fully remediate the stench, proceed to Stage 2Stage 2, remove and replace baseboard, cut back bottom six inches of plaster/drywall, paint 2x4s and lower wall cavities in Kilz.

However, I was not satisfied with the result.So I decided to demo and install new cabinets.The floors had several transitions and different heights, in some cases up to 1-inch difference.

Literally two days after closing there was 4 inches of water throughout the entire lower level.

Take pictures of every square inch of the property and inform the tenant, in front of the officer, that if they do any intentional damage it will be your intent to file charges against them.

I agree it saves costs and if every inch is being redone and upgraded, there should be concerns with the demo company doing it.How large is the house?
