He already paid for the termite inspection and treatment, I paid for the smoke alarms and CO detectors and the permit fee to get the town inspection.I don't know what the actual amount escrowed at the seller's attorney is because they changed a bunch of things in the addenda.

Make sure the battery in your smoke alarm(s) is working properly. 5 - If it's a single family home, please make sure that the grass is cut, the beds are clear of weeds, hedges are trimmed, and gutters are clear of debris. 6 - For any holes in wall, please spackle and touch-up paint. 7 - Per your lease, your utilities must remain on through the end of your lease term.

Interesting read here.We just usually rotate the locks.We buy the cheap stuff.A cop told me with the deadbolts if a perp wants to get in they are getting in.The best thing is to call right away so they can catch them or work the case.Often people call a day or a few hours later and at that point the cop can't do as much.We don't have ultra expensive doors so the tenants add extra lighting and some put in house alarms etc.

I have stayed in many STR's here in CA with pools and I rarely (if ever) see any of these on or around the pool area (latches, fences, approved pool covers, alarms, etc).
