I really want to buy around the world plane tickets for our family and spend a year living out of backpacks but a small voice tells me I should invest and wait until we build some passive income. :-) I'm spending every free moment educating myself because soon that 45 day clock will be clicking before we need to indentify a new property.

@Michael Jackman I spoke to city of Durham planing department and the person i spoke to mentioned it was a requirement install sprinklers but when I spoke to another local Investor the other day who already started building ADU(Attached Dwelling Unit) and the person he spoke to at city of Durham planing department did not say anything about this requirement.

I love BP, but most people write in about their successes and not about what can go wrong very quickly.I started investing in Chicago because it's much cheaper than the New York market, but although property costs less I have a lot more expenses as far as plane tickets, time off from my day job, landscaping, snow shoveling, property management and paying repairmen higher prices for emergency fixes.

You can use the service of a specialized real estate lawyer, or it can pull out an contract from the internet and altered to cover all necessary areas agreed.I would highly suggest the use of a lawyer if there is large a large sum of money involved, and account for the lawyer's cost as a planed expense for this project.Hope that give a bit of light.

Yeah I was planing on visiting myself, and yes one of the complaints I hear many people make is about their unresponsiveness, I've been looking for alternatives as well like you have but ultimately when it comes to quicker steel modular builds it seems they are reigning in that department locally.
