The idea being that once we are ready, I can fully outsource the bookkeeping but have confidence to oversee it.It's kind of annoying (and almost a deal breaker for us) that Yardi doesn't import live bank transactions as we were used to that with Stessa, but it is forcing me to stick to consistent entry and coding things correctly.BTW, you do have the option to pass the CC/Debit Card charges onto the tenant for online payments if you like, or you can absorb them.

I am all for out-sourcing but putting up signs is a GREAT way to see what is going on in the hood.Unless you do it at midnight :) Do it at noon - drive the streets - I have been approaced by a lot of people when putting signs out - some have led to deals - I have found many deals by doing this myself.But if you must - I agree 100% with Nationwide - hire someone you know and trust - if not - have the "stranger" take a photo of EVERY sign he puts out to give to you as proof.....What woudl I pay them - min. wage.

My plan is to try to do some of the work myself so I can learn, and then outsource some of the work (knocking down a couple walls) so that I can get some experience managing contractors and ensure the larger projects are done properly.
