After 4 months of reading everything I could on this site, in March I finally took the plunge and bought my first rental property in Baltimore Md.

And yet I took the plunge for the 36% CoC return!

Right now my goal is to get my first property and move into it as one of the "tenants" and then move forward with the intent to aim for 100 units down the road (maybe more maybe less depending on where I am at in life and when I say that I have enough).My biggest hurdles right now are finding that first deal, buying my first property EVER, and taking the initial plunge into real estate investment.I still have a lot more podcasts to listen to and articles on BP to read through to gain more knowledge on everything.  

I am new to real estate investing, and I recently decided to take the plunge and offer on my first potential rental property.

Before taking this plunge I want to educate myself as much as possible on the risks involved in such a purchase.

I am writing to share my story in hopes of giving other first time investors the courage to take the plunge into buying their first property! 

Been lurking the forums for a while, but the time has come to break the ice and take the plunge.

If anything I feel like I waited too long to start renting my place on Airbnb and once I took the plunge I had only minor issues and made significant money.  

If so, any advice for someone who might be taking the plunge?
