After all, it’s much harder to succeed if you’re a greedy jerk and can not play well with others!

My philosophy has and always will be Warren Buffet's "Be greedy when others are fearful, and fearful when others are greedy".Chicago has tons of old inventory that needs to be rehabbed and price points at every level.I'd be happy to connect to see how we might be able to help, review your strategy, or just talk about Chicago real estate.

Also realize that some property managers bill a property owner/add a % to the tradesman bill, which is just wrong, IMO, as one would think that should be included in the base % the PM gets every month, but some are greedy (it's typically outlined in the PM contract but it's still greedy, IMO).Also, I'm going to work harder to get the best bid for a repair from reputable tradesmen as it's my money that's being spent.

I can certainly resonate with Warren Buffett’s famous quote, “(be) greedy when others are fearful”, as long as you pick the right properties.Jim, hope this helps.

Why would somebody have to lose there earnest money on unseen/uninspected property that is backed by your greedy hard money lender trying to trap the buyer with 10% earnest money?

Warren Buffet always said, "Be greedy when others are fearful" but in this instance I'm not sure if the west end is still a little too rough.

I remember trading stocks 1.5/2 years ago thinking that I was the best trader of all time, only to finish the year negative lol.

Greedy people.  

Don't get too greedy in my opinion - it might not go in your favor.
