Home buying is a bunch of details, but it's not rocket surgery.Personally, I don't find Cypress Hills "rough", but Account Closed is probably right to call it "rougher" in comparison to some of it's neighbors.  

Finding such properties isn't rocket science, you can read up on the various methods on this site.Two of those properties were on the low-income side of town because that's where the numbers worked.

While it may be legal, I would think a professional could wait until they have finished with their clients, and if not, perhaps they could have put it out somewhere else...its not rocket science.

Although there are lots of multis on the MLS, it seems that most fall either on the end of high retail price in good neighborhoods with low returns or on the other end of better looking numbers in neighborhoods that are not as desirable (I know, not rocket-science).

But yes I'm looking to finance, I made an account with quicken loans rocket mortgage just to get my feet wet with the whole process and they won't lend me much over 175 because of my 60k earnings, only about 43 is guaranteed, the rest is OT (we are contractors for PEPCO).
