Doing residential rehabs really doesn't take a truck, an SUV can most likely handle anything you're going to put in a house, and there is the roof rack as well.

In larger markets, we've had them order 500 at a time, price a bit cheaper, but not as much as I expected.We buy the signs only from the vendor and advise our guys to get the stakes locally at Lowes or Home Depot (you don't want to pay to SHIP wire frames or wooden stakes - that blows the economics of your signs...).

The repairs truly are minor: there is a section of a wooden fence leaning against a chain link fence that needs to be taken to the curb for trash pick up (it is not attached to anything), the concrete floor of the laundry room needs to be painted, the laundry dryer vent was installed backwards, weeds need to be pulled from near the crawl space vent, the front porch railing needs to be scraped and painted, and a few other things along those lines.

My dad is a HUGE gun advocate/collector/hunter - He taught me things like, "if you want to put a gun rack in your pickup rear window, put fishing poles in them when you aren't using it because you don't want people breaking into your truck to steal your guns that they think are there under the seat because of the gun rack in the window.
