Yeah screening a new tenant after having such a pleasant on time paying one can be nerve-racking the first time but it gets easier.

Pay the bill, deduct it from his rent payment and start racking up late charges.  

Perhaps it doesn't need to be a steel framed door but just a more solid and private wooden door.

(put up a fence for dog, upgraded the "floating style wooden steps" to have a backing on them so your foot didn't fall thru, getting a lawnmower we agreed would stay at the house if I moved out, etc)

The kitchen is out dated and has original cabinets and countertops (both wooden in color).

Not only that, but the pool is built on a wooden platform.

Why did it take so long to evict where someone (family or not) could rack up $15k in unpaid rent?

So anyway, this past spring we had one day of showings, racked up 19 people 15 minutes apart with rent advertised at $1100.

I just bought a small 2 bed house that has a large wooden shed in the yard for storage.  

I remember having wooden floors in all the rooms of our Victorian house growing up.
