I reached out to her employer as well, who told me she has been a contractor with the company for 4 years and confirmed her income. 

She is telling me she is having to immediately move out due to health issues that could be linked to the house and traces of mold.

I had a couple want to submit a rental application.After seeing the apartment the girlfriend messaged me telling me she wanted to speak with me on the phone because they had something they wanted to tell me. 

Sounds like a wash to me, she has no keys and she has nothing in the home.

If she lets him move in, it's a hassle to get him out if you know about it; if I don't know about it and she tells me she lost her key-- I just re-key and move on.
