Want to have a speaker once a month. 

Typically, we have a guest speaker that focuses on a specific area of REI.

The speakers are great, including @Wayne Snell!

I will have some guest speakers come and talk about buying properties at the auction and then I will share about some of the deals we are currently working on.

SO, something funny...I went to visit my area REIA, good size group, I guess they have monthly speakers, the gentlemen that just so happen to be speaking, FULL of energy, great sense of humor, but there was something eerily familiar about his "pitch".

I see that the time is 5:30, but didn't know if there was networking prior to the presentation or if you just show up, get food and sit to here the speaker? 

There are about 12 speakers each meeting but they only get 10 mins to speak each so you wont get a whole lot out of it.

 I heard from biggerpockets and other speakers that vacant houses are good to target for a better return.Someone in my neighbourhood,MD,left their house and it is vacant now.The people living next door told me they might have left for good for financial reasons.I realy want to buy the house.What are the possibilities and what can i do?

In TX I think the law states if someone stays a certain length of time they can be considered a tenant.I was at a seminar a while ago and the speaker spoke about renting houses to students.
