@Chandler Roman I have to agree with the sentiment of @Chris Martin.  

While I agree with that sentiment, neither my friend nor me are local to the vacant land parcel.

Joel, I'm an investor and attorney and I definitely know where your sentiment comes from. 

I totally Agree with you sentiment on the big banks.. non personal  out to fee you to death etc.I pay zero fees on anything I do save wires..

I think the sentiments of @Jiri B., @Aaron Klatt, and @Shaun Palmer are all about the same...home warranties are worthless...they are primarily used to make the buyer of a property feel comfortable buying a house when they don't know what they don't know may be wrong with it.

Okay those are some good thoughts and both comments are expressing similar sentiments

So the sentiment about flooding wasn't a good one at the time.   

@Wes Blackwell That basically captures the sentiment of the contractors I was able to find and contact.

I do not share the same sentiment as "Thomas" on this thread in that it sounds like he has had a very negative experience with Section 8 tenants or he knows someone that has.
