This was a purely selfish reason not a fiscal one. 

Also I do agree that I can’t expect an agent to “babysit” my project for nothing that would be very selfish of me.

With single family I feel selfish as it only benefits me.

If so, a good agent will try to get their client to realize that and change their attitude.Sure, the agent is being selfish to a degree...but a rational buyer/seller would probably appreciate it (and often does in retrospect).

None of which can be done or had from this post, but apparently, you just selfishly helped yourself while confusing everyone else.

Some people are just selfish while others are afraid of the competition.

The house does have a one car garage and the storage shed is totally for me and my selfish desires because I have so many tools that the yard tools are a pain to get to without tripping over a bunch of other stuff that I don't use as often.I have heard commonly that this type of thing won't get a higher price for a house but will help is sell faster.That being said, your comment got me thinking...If I did sell the house and wanted to move it quick - I could just drop the price.

The initial question doesn't even call for the over thinking that you're doing.Only a petty and selfish person would feel the need to guard the name of a great contractor.

Selfishly, what I get in return on something I feel aligned with far outweighs anything I can measure in cashflow or margin.
