I'm assuming your market is Texas, and you guys have completely different foundation issues there (because of all the 70s Slab construction) than we do here in the Northeast (which is mainly 100+ year old stone/brick/masonry on partial to full basements.)Your best bet is to develop a great relationship with a mason in your area, who specializes in the type of work you're looking to do.

The age of the property was my next question, thanks.I'm going to assume in the first of many assumptions that, with the heating problem you're discussing, this is a framed structure and not full masonry construction.The wiring of the structure was most likely originally knob-and-tube.
