I took a commercial leasing class in los angeles was at least 15 years ago and the instructor was an attorney with a large law firm. 

With that being said, the instructor I had taught me a lot, and did a fantastic job on educating students with a little less working knowledge than me. 

The course material should be the same, although I would say it definitely matters who your instructor is.The book you'll get is called "Principles and Practices of New Jersey Real Estate" by Frank W.

Why sit in class for hours listening to an instructor deliver the same material I can read in 10 minutes?
