Look in front of you.ALL these houses you just looked at, are "off-market properties".You are not looking for off-market properties, you are not looking for tall grass, boarded-up windows, or notices. 

After you get the spot and a 1-inch perimeter around it coated with the shellac, you can cover the whole thing with oil-based poly.It takes a lot of practice to get this right, and it can get frustrating.

Like in Jackson MS with their yazoo clay that clay can make a house move 6 inches if drainage is not done properly around the house etc.   

One of our most used and commented items we added was plush high end turf aka fake grass which covers every square inch of anything that resembled a yard on our properties which are side by side 2 story stilt houses.

You won't need that tall of a window - go just above chest height for most women, unless you want the neighbors to have a peep show.
