The day after the electrical permit was issued, our governor issued the shelter in place order. 

In my state, the governor just issued an emergency decree that tenants could apply their second month of security to rent, and take a 60 day grace period. 

Unfortunately for us the HOA has restricted any new rentals until July 1st and possibly longer even though the governor of Florida set a date of STR restrictions until only May 4th.There are some advantages but the disadvantages tend to out weigh them! 

The cherry on top was on April 2nd Florida's governor ordered a 45-day suspension of all evictions and foreclosures due to the non-payment of rent related to the COVID-19 emergency.

I set-up a temperature range as a governor for guests that limits jacking up the heat during winter months or dropping real low during summer.

Notwithstanding any other language to the contrary, should the Governor declare a state of emergency pursuant to § 44-146.17 of the Code of Virginia in response to a communicable disease of public health threat as defined in § 44-146.16 of the Code of Virginia, and if that declaration specifically provides that the eighth enactment of Chapter 552 of the Acts of Assembly Special Session I shall supersede the language set forth in enactment sixteen of this act then this sixteenth enactment shall not be effective so long as such a declared state of emergency remains in effect.

. :-)If only I could be governor for the day in this crazy liberal state.

Note also that in Florida, HB 87 is on the Governor's desk.

A bill in Indiana is currently in the Governor's office for signature to do this.

FYI -- Illinois has a bill on the governor's desk that restricts wholesaling to brokers.
