As far as my experience in real estate, I am a small-time investor with relatively limited real estate experience, a newbie if you will, looking to provide referrals to out of state investors into markets I do not have expertise in or even live in.

Drawing from your industry expertise, what would you consider the average success rate for Fix-and-Flip investments, and which localities offer the most potential?

I have looked around online, but haven't had any luck yet, i have local real estate agent there, but they are not expertised on those distressed properties.  

A lot of times the contract period is actually when an agents expertise and experience is the most valuable to a buyer.

A well qualified business broker or someone else experienced in those calculations (think someone with statistics/finance expertise) can easily do this.

Other than that, the city is largely residential with many jobs focused around providing for those residential needs such as the service industry sector, home repair, construction, etc.
