Prior to these neighbors, the unit above was occupied, and we never experienced any problems.We’ve spoken to management multiple times, but they’ve been completely unhelpful and have taken no meaningful action and even told us that we are making the noise up, inspite security having been to our apartment numerous times wittnessing the noise.

Hi Radhika-Congratulations on being a homemaker with young kids and looking to do more for the family financially now that the kids are older.You have 50K to get started but are having difficulty choosing markets and deciding where to begin and you are thinking about single-family long-term rentals out of state because you live in California.I would encourage you to start with duplexes, preferably with 2 bedrooms in each unit for tenant longevity, and ideally with separate utilities.

When you have unscheduled entry as an option, I think it encourages them to do weird stuff like hide stuff in weird spots, etc because they are always on guard.Hoarders clauses would have to be linked to fire codes I think for excess people and materials near fire sources, etc.
