ETF doesn't offer much advantage over mutual fund for retirement account in my opinion, as you don't want to trade often or cash out (unless for emergency).In general it's recommended to contribute 10-15% of income to retirement account.

Even an after-hours emergency call should have been less than $200.I would contact the locksmith to verify this is a legit charge and get the details of what happened.If it really was a broken knob, then I think it's only fair to absorb the cost.
