ABNB are crap in helping Hosts, so don't expect much help....but also don't give up.

Score for the buy and holders.Until you can get yourself into the right mindset on how to acquire big wealth with "little to no money down", I agree, it all sounds like a bunch of crap.

If you have a pile of crap don't expect too much from your tenants.Setting income requirements, credit score, criminal history, pets, etc. is a great way to set a standard but its not going to always weed out bad tenants unfortunately.

If I can be proven wrong I would LOVE that, becuase it means that there are a crap ton of creative ways of helping people with 2-3% mortgages achieve all sorts of things while keeping their loan that they don't think they can...

Ultimately the Red/Blue crap doesn't matter, it's about freedom.

However, assuming the OP did get a bad deal, then a number of possibilities exist, ranging from Ohiocashflow sells overpriced crap to unknowing investors to EVERYONE has a lose once in awhile.  

The only thing I've learned in this ongoing thread is that California is a screwed up state that has nothing better to do than crap regulations out their butt.
