If you are set on Tampa, I'd recommend finding a property that still pencils as a LTR if they ever crackdown on the STRs in whatever pocket of Tampa you may find.

They may crack down and use the IRS requirement (and IMO probably will, since it is the most handy definition to hang a hat on) or it might be an existing state statute if one exists or what is deemed reasonable by the local HUD authorities/Prosecutors.

Short answer- NO- there is no crackdown or STR problem in Sedona- and there is no issue in the VOC, either.Longer answer,Before Arizona changed the law and now only HOA's can determine length of rentals, Sedona used to be a 1 month minimum rental town for all single family homes.
