I don't know what area you are in, but generally just take them to Small Claims Court.

The indoor malls that simply offered shopping and a food court are the ones dying off.I've seen some malls be demolished and replaced with high-density single family developments. 

I used an attorney to file for eviction and we had the court date towards the end of October.

Just curious... what’s your ultimate goal for that office space..are you looking to boost resale value, or is it more about having a functional retreat above the garage?

Shows court costs $420 and fines of $500.Says they have much more income then needed to qualify. 

@Michael BertschAs a general rule, we only leave a fireplace functional unless it has a sealed, externally vented, gas insert ... and, even then we may disconnect it.Check with your insurance provider and see how unhappy a functional fireplace in a rental makes them.

I like a known amount up front, not a constantly changing price tag.According to Marion County Clerk of Court's site - they have 4 NOC's all with Elite Building, Inc. dated 6/22 or 6/23/2021 (and with what I assume are the buyers) and Elite is listed as the building contractor on all the NOC's. 

It really sucks to kick out single moms who have not paid rent in 6 months when they are crying in court. 

I never imagined this pursuit would bring me down such a path, and I do not know how well I would function if I had to actually use my pistol.

You might be shocked by the amount of toilet paper some people use for their "functions" and some of the fancier stuff does not disintegrate as easily.Personally, I cannot remember a single place I've ever stayed in my life - STR, hotel, whatever - that I can remember liking or disliking the toilet paper.
