Finder's Fee for Non-Agents Illegal?

Some people make attempts at getting around this buy calling them "marketing fees" or some other obvious attempt at skating the law, but even if there is some loophole or potential way around it, anyone who is willing to pay that fee to an unlicensed person isn't the smartest person in my book because it's very risky, and no upside to the risk of it.

I’m just trying to figure out what the extra $130 is for and they won’t tell me.Is this still a case of the property owner not doing their due diligence or is it perhaps an intentional attempt to mask egregious fees on the part of an unethical PMC?

So when the foreclosure is attempted they end up getting cancelled and it creates the Zombie foreclosure.What would be interesting is finding a way to easily locate a list of zombie foreclosures.John I had my first one as well. got contacted and owner said bank just mailed the deed.. saying they delayed foreclosure to long.. the seller was about to lose it in 48 hours at tax sale so I cured that.. and then did a JV with him taxs were 20 some grand..
