The primary form of diligence we see on the forums is "what do you think of XYZ sponsor and deal" whereas the common form of diligence in the space by institutional investors, large investment groups, family offices, and sophisticated investors involves following the sponsor for years, underwriting the deals, validating rent comps, background checks on the general partners, and a host of other diligence that materially de-risks the investments.

But claims to be so warm and fuzzy.During the zoom call he looked rather defeated.I havent heard a word about my funds..only about 20K@Alan David you are very clueless...I only posted that to show that if I "assumed" that you couldn't type/spell that I would have looked very shallow in not knowing the background.

I had been through so much hassle already with the other banks that I wasn't in the mood for a bank that looked as if it would likely have sales reps with newborn babies crying in the background. :) I wanted to go with Chase bank too for the same reasons you did, however, my attorney warned me that he has had multiple clients who had to go through endless hassles to accomplish their goals with them.
