Some STR hosts have switched to MTR though with the laws so maybe you just have a supply problem there.

Do they pick up or will they require you to contract with a waste company that will supply a dumpster and handle pickup.- If you get a dumpster, neighbors dumping in your bin may be a problem, depending on the location.

I probably won't supply a mini-split but a portable heater is probably necessary.

But at the end of the day, well located properties in which the owner has ample liquidity to ride out long-term cash flow negative periods, rarely lose money.  

We need more supply to do that.

We're currently looking for ways to streamline supplies for cleaners (toiletries, towels, item replacements) and handle small handyman issues.

Supply is lower, interest rates high, and people are locked into there houses. 

And without getting battery backup, they really aren't comparable to your basic Elec power supplied by the power company......I.E. you have a power outage, what do you do at night?

In those two specific states there is just a ton of build-able lots especially SWF so you dont have a supply issue like other areas of the country that are supply constrained and therefore prices are holding or even rising a tad.

These are similar softwares that hotels use to constantly change pricing depending on the demand/supply for the area.
