The Coachella Valley has Larry Ellison's Indian Wells Tennis tournament, 300 days per year of sunshine and the biggest music festival in the WORLD, 3 weeks in April and 2 weeks in October.

I once won a poker tournament.;)

He wanted to join the tournament, but others didn't want him so I took him.

(I'm thrifty- I paid over $600 to go to Excaliburs' Tournament of Kings Jousting last night in Vegas!)

I can easily play 8 softball games (3 different teams including weekend tournaments), two rounds of golf and run 40 miles a week.  

You got Championship week and then the NCAA tourney followed by the start of Baseball!

We are both buyers and private lenders on lower $ ARV SFR properties strangely enough outside our local areas and throughout the U.S.As a side note, I played on one of UCLA's NCAA Championship teams decades ago. 

I've also seen quite a few youth hockey teams staying there for tournaments held the Harbor Center.

Coach John Wooden who have won 10 NCAA national basketball championships in a 12 year period had his players focus on the process, not the result.
