If you google the Wyoming address it is an attorney's address who specializes in setting these companies up and is a mail forwarding service not a "real" office with staff, owners etc.In the one investment document I read, your investment would be in a construction company with no assets and secured only by a UCC filing.

Why Insurance is Not Enough Unfortunately, the landscape with guests and how often lawsuits are filed, has changed dramatically in the last 4-5 years and it's a risk no STR homeowner should take!

If the property is in your personal name you might consider filing the income and expenses from the rental on your personal tax return on IRS Schedule E, not through the LLC.
